Leslie Dempsey

A University of Pittsburgh graduate, Leslie Dempsey spent her career with Scholastic Book Fairs, putting books in the hands of children.

In 2018 she traveled to Jamaica with her daughters on a service trip, an experience that shaped how she thinks about giving and what it looks like up close.

Leslie splits her time between Chicago and Pennsylvania, and in 2025 she brought Inspired Women beyond western Pennsylvania for the first time, launching the Chicago Northwest chapter.
