Guidelines for nominations:

• You must be a member in good standing to nominate a charity at your home chapter.
•  Nominations will be taken at the door and must be submitted by 5:45.
• Within a Chapter, winning organizations are eligible to be nominated in
  18  months but they can be nominated in other chapters where
  they have not received funding.

• January & July – National or Global nominations must be a U.S.
  registered 501(c)(3), and the funds we generate must directly benefit
  women and/or girls.
• April & October – Local nominations must be a U.S. registered
  501(c)(3) and primarily serve women and/or girls within a 50-mile radius
  of the Chapter.
• If a nonprofit serves both locally and globally, please choose which
  quarter is the best fit based on where the funds would primarily be used.
  Chapter leaders can assist in that decision.

Tips when presenting your charity:
(you will have 5 minutes)

Everyone is fearful of public speaking but if you really care about an organization possibly winning the vote and thousands of dollars – either you or another member you defer to, has to be ready to pitch it to the group!
